Pinus Patula "The Pinus Patula is the most feminine of the Mexican pines. Its inclined pale needles, as thin as threads, hang from the end of the softly inclined branches. In spite of its delicate appearance it growths amazingly fast in a warm climate." The trees, Editorial BLUME, Hugh Johnson, page 73. The seeds imported from Mexico are planted in seedbed with a mixture of 24 origins (places of origin from 200 to 2.200 metros over sea level) that assure a genetic abundance almost unique in our country. It is a very valuable technical material. Foliage color: light green. The tree without pruning is spectacular for many years, as long as it keeps al its branches. |
